There’s a Site of Grace next to a sorcerer’s corpse. It’s easy to get overwhelmed, so unless you’re interested in clearing the area, just gallop through to the other end. The village is an annoying place with swarms of demihumans, a demihuman chieftain, and Maggie, the Demihuman Queen. Continue following the road past the giant bear, and you’ll reach Hermit Village. Torrent will take damage, but not enough to make them vanish before you reach the other side. Turn left, and ride Torrent through the lava, ignoring the Magma Wyrm. If you’re traveling on foot, head north through Seethewater in the Altus Plateau until you reach the Fort Laidd Site of Grace. You’ll still have to face the Abductor Virgins (and win this time), and the path beyond spits you out at Hermit Village. Getting pulled into the metal body transports you to the Inquisition Chamber underneath Volcano Manor. There, you’ll face the Abductor Virgins boss. The other shortcut is in the basement of the Academy at Raya Lucaria, accessed by taking the water wheel elevator all the way down instead of up. If you took the long way up through the tunnels instead, it seems the game skips this part and makes you travel to the manor either using another shortcut or traveling there on foot. Speak with her, and she’ll instantly transport you to the manor. If you take the Grand Lift of Dectus up from Liurnia, Rya will be waiting near the steps behind the giant golems. The next phase of Rya’s quest takes place in Volcano Manor, though depending on your route to Altus Plateau, she may escort you there personally. This is the last you’ll see of her for a while. She’ll thank you and hand over an invitation to Volcano Manor. Whatever your choice, take it back to Rya. The thief is sitting near a campfire and will either give you the necklace for 1,000 Runes or drop it when you kill him. It’s Boilprawn Shack, northwest of Rya’s starting location and north of the Scenic Isle Grace. The house she said the thief retreated to is also nearby. Agree to help her look for it, and she’ll tell you where to look in vague terms. She’s in the stone gazebo near the telescope marker on the map and asks for your help recovering a stolen necklace. Rya’s quest begins east of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace in Liurnia. How to start Rya’s quest in Elden Ring: Rya’s location If you have the patience for this winding quest, check out our guide below for how to complete it. In addition to a hefty helping of lore, finishing Rya's questline will also earn you a talisman that increases the damage you take, effectively acting as a “hard mode” of sorts. In the case of Rya, her quest is a long, dark journey into the twisted depths of the Volcano Manor to face off against one of the Lands Between’s demigods. People is too lazy to report this but it’s actually quite bad.Few would argue that any Elden Ring quest comes easily, but a large portion of them are required to complete if you want to experience the game's full story. The legatus spawns, kill him, complete the quest, bye bye blurry interface, welcome back the journal and continue to get your legendary staff.įix this pls. The ppl will do the stronghold and somebody (hopefully) will use the Stronghold banner, at this point, the banner in front of you, the “old banner”, will become usable, so use it. Wait in the original lower “non elite” zone near the old banner. Now wait for another Castrum Elite train to do the elite chests. Once done, the part of “burning the banner” must be complete. The Castrum banner gets marked when u get close to it at the end of the elite stronghold. First, you must interact with a banner located in the last part of Castrum Principium. Really, if u cant complete this mess you cant get this legy. finished this today, the worst thing of all is that this quest is part of a chain that needs to be complete to finally get the quest The Key that was Broken which gives legendary fire staff The Staff of Ptah 615 gs. ( Server Population Reference is helpful.)Īlso there’s a lot of threads on this issue, would be nice if they could be combined. If you’re stuck on the clicking banner part to spawn Drusella then go back at high server population times and wait for someone who isn’t bugged to click the banner. We were able to kill her rather quickly with about a dozen players fighting her and when she died Part 2 completed and changed to “Take the letter” which were were able to do and then turned in the quest. However on Live there was a couple of groups in the town and one person was able to click the banner to spawn Drusella. We always got stuck on “Click the Banner” which would not interact with us after our journal bugged out. On PTR we always did this quest as a duo, with no other help. My wife and I went to the pin on the map even though we could not open our journals as per your advice.
